Last week, we completed the second BCCP course, by #BTPRI with DRII. Throughout the week, Roberto Silva, from the Fishermen's Congress, Roberto J. Guzmán, Fabiola M. Peréz, Anthony J. Santiago, from Ponce Neighborhood and Joel Montero, from Atlantic University, were trained.

The portfolio #OceanRecreation targets investment in said sector because it is considered one of the key tourism attractions in the Caribbean. This is why is one of our key portfolios in the Strategic Implementation Plan for catalyzing a Blue Economy in the US Caribbean.

#Bluetide in collaboration with DRII, provided the BCCP course to members from different organizations and commercial fishermen throughout Puerto Rico. The course prepare professionals in risk and operations analysis and the creation of a management plan for adverse situations.

Yesterday, Bluetide welcomed a group of veterans from various branches of service aboard the R/V blueManta ⛴️ to introduce them to our new "Blue Wings" curriculum. #Bluetide continues its mission to develop the local workforce to be equipped for jobs in the #BlueEconomy.

Bluetide received the training ship "Cambiaso" of the Dominican Republic Navy in the bay of San Juan. The purpose was to return the same hospitality that we received when we carried out the last mission to the neighboring island where we deployed the artificial fish aggregators.
