@Hoppedisciple There's a lot of discussion from vocal fans, but there's not enough of a widespread desire for it to be worthwhile for triple A studios to produce most of these when live service prints infinitely more money for cheaper. HL3 will never happen while DOTA makes money, for instance.
I was going to finish shading my fuckass cat, but I couldn't figure out how to make it look good. Instead I spent way too long on drawing bnuuy.

@grcemilyashcrft The two characters are roughly the same age and shippers are going to ship. That's simply the nature of fandom, as weird and slightly questionable as it might be.
@draken1721 AI is not developed enough yet to be reliable in any workplace environment, yet corporations are pushing for it anyways, leading to an increased amount of corrective work while causing a decrease in creative work, something which is deeply unpleasant to the employee.
Before you ask how I was tested as a toddler while not knowing until recently, my mother had me tested (I confirmed positive for both ADHD and Autism) and didn't tell me until *AFTER* I had chose to get myself tested as an adult.
@thesombergamer A single rack can cost upwards of $400 a year. That doesn't sound like a lot, but when you have to run potentially thousands of them concurrently? Not to mention the cost of staff that need to upkeep and maintain the servers, the staff that needs to patch faulty code...it's a lot
@PoseidonOilRig Yeah that would do it. I'm not going to even bother listing all my illnesses because I'm pretty sure I was born and raised to fill out as much of the DSM-5 as possible while still being able to barely function in society.
@PoseidonOilRig I didn't claim that it was only autism. Like I said, a lot of mental eelnesses have significant overlap, and while depression doesn't overlap with Autism, autism can lead to depressive symptoms manifesting in individuals. Especially if the person also has some form of ADHD.
@MORTALAFEMME I call it communal writing and worldbuilding. People will still judge on occasion, but for the most part they'll be more open to the idea.
@PoseidonOilRig You're probably either severely emotionally stunted, depressed, or both. I recommend seeking help about that, to at least know what you're dealing with and things you can do to try and get better about that in particular.
@PoseidonOilRig Language is meant for more than direct precision. It's also meant to inspire feelings and tell stories. Sometimes those stories are basic, being how to cook an egg. Sometimes the feelings are basic, conveying basic annoyance. That's okay, that's still using language as intended.
@PoseidonOilRig It's not about masking, in this instance. It's about using language as intended, switching key words with different ones to create a more positive meaning to try and cheer up a friend. It doesn't help that I'm typically more obtuse in how I speak than most NTs, admittedly.
@PoseidonOilRig Eh, fair enough. That and there's sizeable overlap for several mental disorders, to the point that they keep getting merged and unmerged as people don't understand the brain yet.
@PoseidonOilRig Direct communication is the best, but it's not always practical. People have bad days, and using more flowery language helps a lot in those situations in endearing people to you.
@PoseidonOilRig I've been punched on accident and that sure as hell hurt a lot less than being belittled intentionally. Concussion and superficial brain damage didn't cause me to develop anxiety disorders. Constant rituals of humiliation did.
@PoseidonOilRig It's a two way street, as is any form of respect. They should be able to accommodate us, yet we shouldn't make it actively difficult for them to approach us either. It will be difficult, but we have to put away our personal egos when dealing with people that lie to themselves.
@PoseidonOilRig I am going to be brutally honest, I would rather have been beaten as a child then having all my dreams mercilessly dashed against rocks. At least then the scars would be physical and people wouldn't assume my disabilities were begging for attention.
