PS2 / Xbox 360 Era was the best era of gaming in my opinion. So many great games that worked instantly out the box. No patches needed. No internet needed. Good times. And your welcome I could be totally wrong btw its just a theory of my prediction and I feel like gta 6 is where things could change. Evidently the PS5 Pro isnt that totally digital? Very expensive for just a digital console. I know you can buy the disc drive separately though. But it does make you think. Going forward will everything be digital only. Thats when the control starts fully. Just my view I could be totally wrong :)

I didnt think of that. Thats a very good question. I have physical copies too. I doubt GTA IV will be effected if that was too happen but New Gen GTA V could well be. I guess if it was to happen it would only effect you if you play with internet access for all the updates and this new DRM check rubbish lol This is why I love physical discs offline and no internet access needed to play the game. They are forever updating things nowadays mobile phones, consoles, tvs but why? Whats the difference since release to now? Other than you noticing your phones or consoles slowing down and the phone battery doesnt last as long anymore. Retro consoles are still going though, Nokia 3310 still works. Hi-fi systems and cds still work. See where I am going with this? Everything is changing and something is going to happen i am not sure what but I think we can all guess what it will probably be and thats digital ID checks, internet access needed at all times, account creations needed with verified digital licence keys and digital id verified. 30 years ago if I said one day you will be able to pause, rewind, record live tv nobody would of believed me.

I literally just answered your question thats all and your still mad about it that shows how immature and childish you are. I am wrong a lot and I own it. And I learn from it. And whats the point arguing over digital vs physical everyone knows the difference. No its not. A licence is a licence. Music is music. Its all on a lease. How do you think it works then? Because your defending something you do not physically own. And before you say anything about physical discs there is many physical games that you do own and don't need any internet at all for anything about that game.

@GrimNGhastly @whatiskami I know i have played them all since GTA 1. But recent games from various different companies even good ones like CD Project Red, Sony Studios, etc the games are just not the same anymore. So I am not building my hopes up I rather be surprised than let down.

@RaminNasibov Prince of persia on the commodore 64, then I remember paperboy on the sega I think and Road rash, micro machines. I also remember being totally in awe with super Mario 64 open world on the N64. Good times. Then the PS1! And then the best era ever the PS2/Xbox 360!

Clever marketing tactics, fakery, FOMO etc We havent seen any gameplay yet... Modern games these days are not exactly what they used to be. I honestly feel peak gaming was PS2 Era and maybe about 10 years ago approx. Only games recently I hear about is either Elden Ring or Expedition 33. Other games have too many problems or Full of micro transactions and totally unfinished and broken on release. Am I wrong?

@Unai_p01 @_GTAVI_ Possibly, but everyone will definitely need a rockstar account like a linked social club, and also verified Age. There is many reasons why rockstar has gone digital. Digital has more control and you cannot resell your copy. You can lose it anytime also as your just renting.

@_Deez_Games We havent seen any gameplay yet either, people have gone mad FOMO. People think its already the best game ever made and they only have a empty box with a piece of paper to go on.... I will never trust digital. And I do not trust modern games.
