@thekorko @allycatventures @burgwx The USA gun lobby is a powerful beast. Here in NZ we had a major shooting incident and had new gun control legislation within a week. Also had an amnesty where the government offered cash for people's guns , no questions asked.

@gladhandinhand It doesn’t use AI assets. It was use to refine 3 paintings and a UI element. All of which were created by hand first. AI wasn’t used to generate anything. All assets 100% human made.

Got into a heated argument with a rich Mexican girl who genuinely believes she’s immune to kidnapping because she has a "GPS implant."

I told her GPS implants don’t exist…how is a tiny chip under your skin going to hold a battery powerful enough to broadcast a signal to space?

She wouldn't listen. Family pays thousands for this.

I did some digging, and there’s actually a Mexican company called Xega that actually sells these.

But it’s just a passive RFID chip. For it to work, you have to carry an external device that acts as a GPS panic button.

Meaning: If a kidnapper throws away her purse or smashes the device, the tracking is completely gone.
It’s useless.

Their marketing was good enough to convinced people this placebo chip will save their lives.

Even crazier? The Mexican government actually chipped a bunch of their own officials with it.

It’s a glorified pet tag.
