Super excited to announce my verbal commitment to Chowan University to further my education and softball career! And most importantly, all glory goes to God!! Go Hawks💙🤍

I have questions for those travel ball (high school aged) softball athletes playing this weekend. Why aren’t you on a break? When do you take a break? How long is/was your break? Did you play all spring/summer & you’re still going? Burnout & overuse injuries are real guys. 👀 LMK

[Harper Lovelace @_HarperLovelace]

We played well overall ending 3-3 and we were blessed to make it to day 5 in Triple Crown this weekend! Didn't hit the best but my defense made up for it! Happy to take a break to reset and get ready for fall season!

WHAT. A. GAME. 1-1 ball game going into ITB with @_HarperLovelace on 2nd base. @MannKatie2027 sac bunted to move her to 3rd and in a 0-2 count I hit a walk-off triple (hit the 225 fence). So proud of these girls and an AMAZING pitching game for @mckenna2027 !!

What if you don’t perform well when a college coach is watching?

It happens. You know a coach is there. You’re hyped. You’re ready. And… the game just doesn’t go your way.

Here’s what to do next:

🔹 Stay composed. Coaches aren’t just watching for stats—they’re observing how you handle failure, pressure, and adversity.

🔹 Hustle and attitude still matter. Did you sprint on and off the field? Pick up your teammates? Stay locked in even after an error? That matters to coaches.

🔹 Follow up. Send a thank-you message to the coach who came to watch. Be honest—acknowledge it wasn’t your best game, but emphasize your work ethic and invite them to watch you again.

🔹 Stay ready. One game doesn’t define you. Keep putting in the work, control what you can, and be prepared for the next opportunity.

Your response to a tough outing might actually impress a coach more than a perfect performance.

@_HarperLovelace C/U was on 🔥 in Scenic City. This lefty power hitter is fun to watch in OF, MIF, catching, or in the box. She showed out in several categories in the 16u division!

✅ 14th in BA (.611)
✅ 7th for hits (11)
✅ 3rd for triples (2)
✅ 14th for OBP (.682)

So proud of my team for making it to the sweet 16 in Scenic City!! It sure was hot outside, but my bat was even hotter! My BA was a .611, ranked 14th in the 16u division🔥 Can't wait to see what I do next weekend in Rock Hill, Sc!
