#GazaGenocide - 18.07.2026
Israel is still committing genocide in Gaza‼️
Israel is still committing genocide in Gaza‼️
Israel is still committing genocide in Gaza‼️
Israel is still committing genocide in Gaza‼️
🚨BREAKING: Five Palestinians, including a young boy and a girl, were killed after an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential apartment in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, west of Gaza City.
You mean like Cape Town under @geordinhl? The City lost its clean audit, was found by the ConCourt to have failed to provide affordable housing to undo apartheid spatial planning, and by the Public Protector for failing to deliver in black communities like Langa and Khayelitsha.
Donations are not meant to buy obedience to the donor's worldview. That is blackmail and control. Anyway
..if those donors are businesses, do South Africans have a right to know who they are so they too can make a decision about where to take their money?
My problem with South Africa and its policy makers is that you want to leapfrog to first world solutions without ever having successfully addressed the structural 3rd world problems.
1. If you want to tax people for consuming sugar, regulate the market in a way that makes choosing healthier alternatives accessible and affordable. You could literally put a 50% sugar tax on the price of a 2L Coke and it would still be cheaper than fresh fruit juice. A free market system must be just. It cannot be purely left to the market to determine prices. The demand for healthy alternatives is there, the affordability isn’t.
2. If you want to curb the sedentary lifestyle that causes the chronic conditions that ultimately strain the public health sector, then develop towns and cities with infrastructure that enables people to walk or ride around the neighbourhood, and even to their places of work. Absolutely NOWHERE is safe to ride a bike in Gauteng. And a bike ride to work should not be the equivalent distance of training for the Cape Augus cycle tour.
3. Stop perpetuating apartheid spacial planning by building government housing on the outskirts of economic hubs. The approval of property development in affluent areas must be conditional on the provision of affordable housing in the same developments, subsidised by government.
Can’t reach first world outcomes if we can’t even get the basics right.
It’s because the TRC didn’t do its job. They know they will get away with those crimes again and this time they will finish what they intended, had the sanctions and boycotts failed. The apartheid regime was close allies and friends of theirs.
@HermanMashaba What a reckless statement to make about one of the only organisations in this country that consistently calls out human rights abuses. These two reports were released just this week. Under your regime would schools investigate themselves for retaining teachers that rape children?
The attack on Deputy Minister Yusuf Cassim on the basis of the religion he practices and the attire he wears is shameful and should be rejected by every freedom loving South African. In reality, it’s also an attack on our Constitution which guarantees all of us this same right.
South Africa has a large Christian population, but it doesn't make it a Christian state. SA is secular.
Theocracy, regardless of religion, is a bad idea.
Yusuf Cassim has in the last 4 hours been called:
A terrorist
A foreigner
A suicide bomber
A member of Boko Haram, Al Qaeda, Hamas
A spaza shop owner
An implementer of Sharia Law
A Pakistani
His background:
Born in Uitenhage, parents are South African Indians. Studied at NMU, became a member of the SRC, youngest member of parliament in 2014.
His crime? Wearing Islamic attire.
The fact that in an ethnically and religiously diverse country like ours we have people who cannot identify their own local groups within communities. We are slowly becoming a fascist, far-right nation completely ignorant of history. You have to laugh at the hypocrisy.
If you’ve been suspecting that there is a well funded campaign to try and create a narrative that South Africans are a hateful people in order to have us isolated, and that it leads all the way back to our ICJ Case for the genocide Israel is committing in Palestine…here it is.
Look at the hundreds of hateful and mostly ignorant responses to Yusuf’s appointment. The bulk of these are from anonymous accounts from around the world masquerading as South Africans.
For one, South Africa has never had an Islamophobia problem. Nor have we had an anti-semitism problem. Neither have we been a people who claim to be a “Christian” country, even though most of us self-identify as Christian. We have had Muslim Ministers and Deputy Ministers since time immemorial, and all our cultures and faiths co-exist freely.
You would noticed the misinformation campaign by other African governments, led by the Ghanaian Foreign Minister, about the anti-illegal immigration protests. And AfriMAGA? Remember that?
They want to break us apart. RESIST!!!
This chap is South African, he matriculated from the same high school I did in Uitenhage (now Kariega) in the Eastern Cape.
The environment of suspicion, cruelty and hate created by these groups, and the way it is growing into multiple typical forms of Western stereotypes is shocking. I do not have any recollection of SA having an Islamophobic problem.
We are on the brink of US-like Islamophobia, incredible that anyone still thinks that any of this hate is organic considering the US-Israel culture of hatred against the Muslim community and its genocide in the Middle-East.
Homes are being raided to look for foreign nafionals, people are being profiled based on their skin colour, people are being profiled based on their religions. Are we on the brink of a Nazi culture?
We should all condemn the attacks on this individual, whether it’s from Zionists or the idiots who think every 1 in 2 people in SA is a foreign national.
and how does a march laced with mass deportation rhetoric achieve any of this? A march led by fucking Ngizwe Mchunu??? You LOT know that unlawful behaviour is a serious threat for the 30th and are happy to skim over that because the safety of black bodies is that disposable to you.
Bethuna we have always understood conditioning & grooming savumelana about their behaviour of victims ba injani, why are we not applying that to Lindani’s case?😔
