Viewing recommendation: A simple concept yet intricate and compelling French film called ‘Nothing to Hide’. (You can find it on Netflix) #doyourselfafavour
I am so privileged to be surrounded by artists who give other artists opportunities - not because they have to but because they are genuinely interested in the development of that artist. [That's how networking should be...am I right???]
To this day, finishing a book that I absolutely love breaks my heart in a way that I cannot describe. It feels as though I am mourning for people and for a world that I loved so dearly.
There's a phenomenon going round Pretoria where when it rains people suddenly forget how to drive or follow ANY road regulations. It's the strangest thing. -_-
I finished a viewing of "Annihilation". two days ago and am still processing but would like to reiterate what @FilmCritHULK said in his review: "this film has some of the most intense and haunting imagery that I can remember in recent film."
I've a question that I've been struggling with: How much
can an artist use their own experiences before alienating and exposing the people who were involved to the imposing and obtrusive eye
of an audience.
It's been two weeks since I watched #BlackPanther & I still have goosebumps. So when people tell me: "I don't understand the hype around the film" my first reaction is anger then dissapointment & then I'm so sad that I walk away. If you don't understand by now, you'll never.
