i think the bullying impacted aemond a lot as he does speak about it when he is with the madame. “they laughed at me” his voice is very quiet here, showing how vulnerable side.

he also has vhager, which is an older female dragon. he is constantly trying to fill this hole he has because he was never comforted by his mother or his father.

it’s quite clear aemond has mother issues. alicent does not comfort him much at all throughout the series, and he seeks comfort in other older women. the woman at the brothel - he is seem in the foetal position naked next to her. “i do regret that business with luke”

this can be seen as a huge insult to aemond as he wants a dragon. he loses his eye in a fight with luke. this is seen as a HUGE blow. during the family dinner luke is seen laughing at aemond, and you see him stand up angry slamming his drink on the table.

i think at heart, aemond is quite sensitive. he is the second son, therefore he is almost seen as discarded matter. he was bullied by his brother and cousins bc he didn’t have a dragon. “they brought me a pig”.
