@DaveClark338 @wendoureeswans That is true. However, in a democracy, the onus is on the public to make our feelings heard. In order to ensure that our values are being represented by our judicial system and government.

@DaveClark338 @wendoureeswans Honestly, what really gets me is that regardless of the stand alone evidence for the murder, he has admitted to statutory rape. It is illegal for teachers to engage in relationships with their teenage students. That in the least should dismiss bail.

@DaveClark338 @wendoureeswans That is true and I do believe that a fair trial should be given to everyone. Although, I believe that granting bail isn’t always a great choice. Often we see repeat offences, or in this case, someone running out the clock so that they can’t live through their full sentence.

I can guarantee you if a woman’s husband vanished under the same circumstances, she would promptly be brought to justice and no one would be jumping to her aid.

@BradClark666 @wendoureeswans This case has been far too concerned with giving Chris the benefit of the doubt. So much so that they have completely ignored the fact that a young mother disappeared for decades. He is a known abuser and sexual predator, that in the least should have been grounds to deny bail.
