CRAZY CALIFORNIA STUFF: LAWN CHAIR LARRY

In July, 1982, a truck driver from California flew 16,000 feet into the sky in a lawn chair.

Larry Walters, 33, from San Pedro, had dreamed of flying his whole life. He bought 42 eight-foot helium weather balloons, tied them to a regular Sears lawn chair, strapped on a parachute, packed a BB gun to pop balloons to descend, a CB radio, sandwiches, and a six-pack of beer.

He expected to float a few hundred feet above his backyard.

Instead, he cut the rope and shot up like a rocket. To 16,000 feet! He eventually drifted directly into the main approach path for LAX. 2 airline pilots radioed the tower: they had just passed a man in a lawn chair holding a gun at 16,000 feet.

For 45 minutes, he floated over Los Angeles, freezing cold, too scared to shoot balloons because he might fall. Finally, he started popping balloons one by one and slowly descended.

He landed tangled in power lines in Long Beach, California, causing a blackout. When police arrested him, they asked why he did it. He said, "A man can't just sit around."

The FAA fined him $4,000. California, man. 🤣🤣🤣

Trump was up in the PA 2020 election by over 800,000 votes with over 64% of the votes counted, then around 650,000 votes with over 80% of the votes counted. It was a clear victory. So we thought...

Biden never thought Trump would be this far ahead, so precincts were shut down across the country, and while everyone was asleep, millions of votes were injected into the 2020 election around the country until Biden magically cleared the margin of victory.

They literally had to cheat on top of cheating in order to beat Trump because he was so far ahead. It's time to secure our elections, or we will lose this country.

Here’s how I would solve the homeless situation in LA with one decision.
I would cut the “homeless budget” from almost $1B to just $20m.
The non-profits would dissolve because there’s no more money to steal, resulting in a lack of free drugs/tents/etc that keeps the homeless on the streets and encourages those from other cities and states to come camp out here.
Reduction in the homeless would follow.

Oh man… not sure how to write this.

Here it goes.

January of last year, I did something I hadn’t done… ever.

I gave Trump credit for doing something good.

I gave him credit for keeping his promises to us in Western North Carolina.

I could never have imagined the volume of hate and anger I received from doing something that was so obviously the right thing to do.

Just giving credit where credit was due.

Saying thank you.

Since that moment, I’ve learned a lot.

I’ve learned that some of my liberal friends were never friends.

They torched our friendship almost immediately… just for thanking Trump.

I learned that many liberals seem to preach tolerance, but aren’t tolerant of conservative ideas AT ALL, it’s just an act to pretend to be moral.

I learned that the greatest organizations in the world are churches… something that was genuinely UNTHINKABLE even 2 years ago.

I learned that the media just… lies.

They lie constantly and without fear of ever being caught.

I learned this lying comes from a bizarre sense of righteous morality that the lie, in the end, will achieve some good.

I learned they cannot be trusted.

I learned that I offloaded my own critical thinking to these organizations, and that many of the news “stories” I believed were true… never were.

I learned what it means to be swatted.

I learned what it’s like to have some crazed leftists send armed police to my home, with my kids in their beds, at 2AM claiming I had been sh0t and to break down the door.

I learned that the only thing in the world that can change a persons mind is kindness is action… because that’s what changed mine.

I learned that kindness is telling the truth, not lying to protect someone’s feelings.

I learned that telling the truth is the most dangerous thing you can do, and that’s why free speech matters so much.

I learned that free speech is never truly free… they will come after your entire life and try to destroy everything in it.

…but it’s worth it

It’s all been worth it.

22 year old Logan Federico was visiting friends in Columbia, South Carolina.

Early one Saturday morning, career criminal Alexander Dickey, a thug with nearly 40 prior charges and a rap sheet full of felonies, breaks into the home at 3 a.m.

He steals a gun, walks into the room where Logan is, and shoots her in the chest while she’s on her knees begging for her life.

Then he keeps going on his little crime spree.

Zero national outrage. Media is completely silent. No wall-to-wall coverage. No protests. Nothing.

Because the victim was a beautiful young White woman and the killer is Black. That doesn’t fit the script.

This is what happens when you let violent predators out over and over again.

Soft-on-crime policies and a broken system that protects the animals instead of the innocent.

Her father is fighting like hell in Congress so Logan’s name isn’t forgotten. We should all be doing the same.

One county found 186 verified noncitizens in one audit, 25 of them confirmed to have voted illegally

Here’s how they were able to do it: The state says they only allow American citizens to register to vote, but the system relies heavily on self-attestation. People going to apply can simply click “I am a U.S. citizen” during registration

There is no proof of citizenship that was required at the time for registrations, and they can use an ID like driver’s license they many noncitizens can easily obtain

To the Americans:

I've travelled all over the world. I've familiarized myself with many places, and met many people. And I'm a Canadian, although I’m privileged to reside once again in the States.

And here's something I've noticed, and it’s a key element of America's continuing greatness:

You bloody Americans value success, and you believe in its existence.

This is something that doesn't really happen anywhere else in the world. Even in other free democracies—the United Kingdom; Finland, Sweden, and Norway; Australia, New Zealand and Canada; Germany, France, and the Netherlands (great countries all)—a counterproductive cynicism too often reigns.

Success is equated with exploitation.
Ambition is looked upon with contempt.

This happens sometimes in the United States too—particularly among the miserable progressives, who confuse their resentment, ingratitude and unearned skepticism with wisdom.

But in your great country, by and large, striving is admired and success celebrated.

This means that more people strive and succeed in the US than anywhere else. And it's increasingly obvious. You remain stunningly more innovative and productive than any people anywhere else on the planet.

And so I say, as all should who are fortunate enough to live in the western world, let alone America:

Thank God for the United States.

Thank God for the wisdom of its founders.
Thank God for its faith in the free market and in the natural rights of man.
Happy birthday, you damn Yankees and Southerners.

Long may your admirable country dominate the world.

Long may your freedom and hope provide an example to those suffering everywhere at the hands of their malevolent states.

May your two and a half centuries of unparallelled success be just the beginning.
