@lizmnv@GuntherEagleman Yep. Everyone keeps inflating this “birthright” citizenship to natural born citizen status. One is by law and one is by nature. All these 14th amendment anchor babies are not Natural born citizens who inherited their citizenship from their parents. not eligible to be President
@t_f_bow@DrJohnEastman@FLViper2014 Maybe. Maybe it would give them a chance to actually read what the authors wrote and have a come to Jesus moment. At the minimum is signals we aren’t doing this.
Birthright Citizenship case just released by the Supreme Court. By a vote of 5-4 (Chief Justice Roberts writing), the Court holds that the 14th Amendment mandates birthright citizenship for everyone born in the U.S. The dissents are strong and, in my view, correct. More analysis later.
@Shawn_Farash Get ready for false headlines that will change after they read a very technical interpretation. They are defining “under the jurisdiction thereof”. IMHO
@GOP_is_Gutless I had a dream that Thomas wrote the decision and it was a blunt return to the original meaning of the amendment. (No birthright citizenship for every visitor). I’m praying it was a premonition instead of just a dream. 🤷♀️
