What To Decide
We accumulate invisible weights every day. From the moment we step outside, we engage in a constant, low-grade negotiation with the world, analyzing the intentions of a greedy shopkeeper, bracing for the indifference of the matatu driver ... ⤵️
This is how we have lost our sense of unity. We can barely coexist for a full day without friction, retreating into isolation . We have unlearned the most fundamental joy that every child knows instinctively: the profound happiness found in playing with others. ⤵️
Yet, that joy is not lost. It is a choice. We can still reclaim it in positive and affordable ways, through a moment of genuine eye contact, a word of thanks that acknowledges a shared humanity, or simply by deciding to be the one who smiles first.
⤵️
how to simply be a person at peace. The irony is that as social beings, we crave positive connection; we want the matatu guy to smile back, not realizing that he, too, is probably afraid—that he sees us not as a person, but as a potential stressor in his own difficult day. ⤵️
navigating the subtle tensions of countless interactions. We have been trained to do this since we were young, to decode and defend.
Often, we carry these micro-stressors home with us. They settle in our silence, and in our solitude, we sometimes forget how to feel good... ⤵️

Ahead of the celebrations on 2 June – International Sex Workers’ Day, we reflect on a historic act of courage.
In 1975, over 100 sex workers occupied the Saint-Nizier Church in Lyon, France. They demanded an end to police harassment, unsafe working conditions, and systemic injustice.
Their action inspired a nationwide strike and sparked the modern sex workers' rights movement.
As we approach June 2nd, let’s honour their bravery and push for real access to justice for all sex workers.

And fulfillment deepens with curiosity, honesty, and a willingness to define sex on your own terms.
OK, that’s it , kindly leave a comment and don't forget to always practice safer sex 🌈❤️
Sexual Intelligence by Marty Klein, mentions that most people carry anxiety about whether their sex lives are normal, often shaped by cultural standards that prioritize performance and comparison over connection.
But sexual satisfaction depends more on emotional presence, communication, and self-awareness than on technique or frequency. Letting go of rigid definitions of sex and desire creates space for authentic experiences. Confidence grows from self-acceptance.
