#STPIINDIA - Software Technology Parks of India, Guwahati is delighted to take #first_step towards establishing #CoE for #Space_and_Satellite applications. In this connection Dr. Soumya Prakash Otta, Jurisdictional Director STPI Guwahati extended hearty welcome to Mr. Anil Prakash, Director General of SIA-India for a fruitful discussion to proceed with the conceptualized plan.

We also extended a warm welcome to Assam Govt official representative Shri PLN Raju, Special Secretary, Science and Technology Department & Director, Assam State Space Application Centre, Govt of Assam to discuss the envisaged active support from Assam Govt towards the proposed first CoE on Space & Satellite Application in #NorthEast India.

#STPIINDIA Guwahati is also happy to welcome Dr. Nayanjyoti Goswami, PhD, Managing Director, Assam Startup (AISF) to discus the grassroot level preparation and implementation plan for creating effective #startup ecosystem in this sector.

The discussion was encouraging for desired outcome and optimistic about its timely implementation. We are confident that innovative budding #entrepreneurs & #startups are going to get desired launching pad for ventures in #Space and #Satellite applications of #Global_Standard, thereby making effective contribution towards Viksit Bharat 2047.

#STPIINDIA Guwahati organized a workshop on Gender Sensitization & POSH Awareness on 12.06.2026.The session, conducted in hybrid mode and led by Major Sonu Siwach, Indian Army, was attended by STPI-Guwahati employees including sub-centers OICs & staffs and incubatees across #Northeast India.

The workshop empowered participants with valuable insights on workplace dignity, gender sensitivity, respectful behaviour, prevention of sexual harassment and POSH compliance. It also highlighted the importance of creating an inclusive, safe and equitable work environment for all.

Through such initiatives, STPI reaffirms its commitment to promoting awareness, accountability and a culture of respect at the workplace.

🏢✨ गोरखपुर में STPI के 71वें केंद्र के उद्घाटन के साथ, उभरते शहरों में तकनीकी उद्यमियों को सशक्त बनाने की दिशा में एक और महत्वपूर्ण कदम बढ़ाया गया है। टियर-II शहर के रूप में अपार संभावनाओं से भरे गोरखपुर को अब एक अत्याधुनिक टेक्नोलॉजी हब का साथ मिला है।

✨ उत्तर प्रदेश के माननीय मुख्यमंत्री Yogi Adityanath (@myogiadityanath) ने इस महत्वपूर्ण केंद्र का उद्घाटन किया।

लगभग 25,000 वर्ग फुट क्षेत्र में ग्राउंड + 1 संरचना में विकसित यह अत्याधुनिक सुविधा स्टार्टअप्स, इनोवेटर्स और आईटी कंपनियों के लिए एक सशक्त पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र प्रदान करेगी। 71वें STPI केंद्र में प्लग एंड प्ले स्पेस तथा लगभग 12,000 वर्ग फुट का इनक्यूबेशन स्पेस (6,000 वर्ग फुट रॉ और 6,000 वर्ग फुट सेमी-फर्निश्ड) उपलब्ध है।

इस केंद्र में ऑडिटोरियम, कॉन्फ्रेंस और मीटिंग रूम्स, नेटवर्क ऑपरेशंस सेंटर (NOC), कैफेटेरिया सहित कई आधुनिक सुविधाएं उपलब्ध हैं—जो नवाचार, सहयोग और विकास को बढ़ावा देने के लिए एक गतिशील वातावरण तैयार करती हैं।

यह पहल भारत के डिजिटल और स्टार्टअप इकोसिस्टम को और सशक्त बनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि है | ⚙️
