@KieraDiss A public order event in The Mall and surrounding area around BP would be banned. I imagine The King would have to authorise this. Very unusual.
@InTheTrenchesUK Police always relied on the goodwill and compliance to the law. We are now witnessing that breakdown. There in no chance of a reversal to that of old unless the legacy political parties are thrown out of office and sooner the better.
@UxbEconomist07 The thing is people vote in good faith hoping they will get what they voted for. When it inevitably does come crashing down they then see what you are pointing out. This generation needs to see the cons and Labour in power to then vote for real change by putting Farage in power.
@ArchRose90@edwardfila@elonmusk This from a party that sent dozens of of people to assist the democrats in the last presidential election. The hypocrisy is staggering.
@Suffragent_@CorshamResident The police rely on the vast majority of the population to comply and obey the law. As soon as they lose that compliance arrest i the last of the police problems. The answer is to change the causation which is two tier policing.
As a former Police Officer can I point out UK Police NEED the support of the public to do their job. What we are seeing now is that breakdown. Ever since the McPherson Report this is what the left and labour intended. Political and police leadership need overhauling urgently.
@ArchRose90 After the McPherson Report & the Met Commissioner admitting they were institutionally racist the entire Met Police Officers were locked in a room in groups to be brainwashed that they were all racist. Most of us argued the opposite. This was in the 1990's. Must be worse now.
@PolitlcsUK I bet Trump uses this as further proof that the BBC and newsnight continue to tamper with actual words said ie not mistakes but political manipulation to suit their agenda
@DPJHodges So based on that Poll 'The Burnham effect' = difference between Labour and Reform = 3% = 11 people. With a 5.1% margin of error I would say not that great an effect.
