Miami chose not to sign Drew Brees because of the shoulder. Simple as that.

Just signals to me how much he knew and fully believed he didn’t break the rule.

He’s still a reasonable person, don’t think he’d go to this lengths if he thought he could be wrong on that.

Imagine being accused of lying and cheating in a massive moment, if you 100% knew you were in the right, it’d be silly to NOT argue it to the fullest extent.

Of course those that already don’t like you will view that through a negative lens, but who cares.
