I am extremely pleased to announce that my campaign, which only began a few days before the end of the reporting period, along with the reports made public today by PACs supporting our effort, have raised a total of over 13.6 million dollars.
The campaign committee itself raised a million dollars in a very few days. Having just got started, we will meet the RNC limits for the first debate. I am humbled and blessed. Thanks to all who have given.
@BikeWalkMB Building aside, the park that was built was worth it. Once the pedestrian/bike bridge over the causeway is **finally** built, west avenue will be a lot more bike friendly.
@arestaurant_guy Interesting, when I filled this out last year for a restaurant, there was no confirm from IRS and the waiting time for payment was 18-20 weeks. Sounds like the IRS changed systems. My gut is you should just resubmit as is, and hope it’s a different IRS employee who processes.
As someone who is monitoring Miami Beach, there are A LOT of $750k-$1M listings where no equivalent condo or home has sold above $600k and there are unknown assessments coming with the new law going into effect on Jan 1, 2024. The seller delusion seems to be greatest at that price point.
@wanyeburkett Frankly that’s how your comments come off. “I listened to a podcast and now I have something to say”. Go spend one hour at any courtroom in the country watching how bail proceedings work, and then share what you’ve learned.
I would encourage you to spend a couple days sitting through criminal court with a variety of judges. It’s clear from your comments that you’ve never done this and it might better inform your opinion. Also it’s important to know that history of arrests/convictions is inadmissible as evidence to any trial.
@Minn7C @arestaurant_guy I agree tho, it’s game over once someone steals. But this whole “guilty until proven innocent” is never the right call. Most people will fess up and that provides clarity to mgmt and co-workers.
