Great day of @NebraskaGold friendlies! The girls will be back at it this weekend playing up in the 16U division at the @TopGunEvents Quakes Aftershock.
Central City High School will celebrate six senior student-athletes as they take the next step in their academic and athletic careers.
Blake Burbach will sign with William Penn University to compete in men’s volleyball. Known for his work ethic and commitment to improvement, Blake developed into a standout libero through dedication and persistence. He plans to major in Education.
Payton Burbach will sign with Southeast Community College to continue her softball career. A passionate and driven competitor, Payton earned multiple all-state honors and played a key role in leading the Bison to a state championship appearance. She plans to major in Radiologic Technology.
Wyatt Dent will sign with Iowa Western Community College to play football. A record-setting receiver and state champion in track, Wyatt has been one of the most dynamic athletes in program history. He plans to major in Business Management and Marketing.
Conner Erickson will sign with Southeast Community College to play baseball. A three-year starter and versatile leader, Conner has been instrumental in the success of the Kernels program, including a state runner-up finish. He plans to major in Health Science.
Damien Malachias will sign with Peru State College to continue his football career. Known for his toughness and determination, Damien has been a key contributor across multiple sports and brings a strong work ethic to the next level. He plans to major in Psychology.
Parker Zikmund will sign with Morningside University to play football. A record-setting quarterback and strong leader, Parker leaves a lasting impact on the program both on and off the field. He plans to major in Elementary Education.
