We were lucky to have an amazing intern join our paleontology team this summer!
Brady McBride is a UVIC student who never grew out of that dinosaur “phase” and now he’s on his way to becoming a paleontologist himself!

This is an exquisitely preserved and almost complete 200-million-year-old ichthyosaur embryo found in Somerset #FossilFriday
With a jaw measuring just over 6 cm long, it is TINY, but with a massive eye! (The larger skeleton is the mother and the arrow points to the embryo.)
The Original Video was taken down for reasons I do not know why. But until it comes back. Pls, enjoy an edit with a familiar tune. This took no time at all lol. I look forward to the actual soundtrack when it comes out. 👀
