When I was Skills Minister & former Chair of @CommonsEd, I campaigned hard for Prisoner Apprenticeships to help prisoners gain skills for rehabilitation. The appointment of @JamesTCobbler as Prisons Minister - who gets these things more than most - is inspired. Knee jerk opposition to his appointment by some @Conservatives is a big mistake.
