Had the most enjoyable spring baseball season I have ever coached. Our U11 Blue Jays closed out the season yesterday with winning the league pennant. Especially proud of my son Nic that hit the walk off to help secure the win. Now on to summer ball and coaching the U11 AAA Team

@edgaralandough Wow this is so true. Time goes by quicker than you could ever imagine. My kids 17, 14 and 11 and those younger years are gone in a blink of an eye. Sometimes I wonder if I enjoyed them as much as I should have.

@damsmokedamgood You aren’t wrong, especially when you look to potentially move your kid from minor hockey to an academy or zone team. Those programs can range from $10-25k per year. When you look at the WHL draft recently as an example, most kids are scouted and drafted out of these programs.
