UPDATE (5:15 p.m.): the Trans-Canada Highway has reopened to traffic.
Side roads in the Paddy’s Pond evacuation area remain closed. Fowlers Road is closed at Peacekeepers Way headed southbound towards Paddy’s Pond.

We are seasoned hikers. We are careful to check each other and the pooch when we get off the trails. This was hidden on my back the tick was gone but then developed fevers and arthralgias.
