2/2 A gorse fire where we quickly got to work. Pumps were made to 5 before the incident was closed. A MASSIVE shout out to our Critical Control, their vital work often goes under the radar.

1/2 A busy night for us at Bude last night. We were initially sent to Launceston to provide fire cover whilst they dealt with an incident over the border. We were quickly sent to a small fire in the open - advice was given to the owner. We were then asked to proceed to…..

This drone footage was taken by Scott last weekend. You can see how quickly the fire can spread. Thankfully no one was hurt and there was only superficial fire damage to the nearby building.

1/2 A triple 'long service' achievement for three of the Bude crew last week. Firefighter Gareth Clark; with an outstanding 30 years' service - joining "Cornwall County Fire Brigade" on the 16th Jan 1995, plus Firefighter Gav Cornish and Crew Manager Barney Day;
