@MikeGrinnell_@spittinchiclets@mattmurley19 I played for Brantford growing up. When I was like 11 the only number they had left the one year was 99. I was an out-of-town kid, so they gave it to me. I would have been better off playing with no jersey.
Sabres home opener looks like a sellout. Chance to not only get seats but a pair on the glass! Courtesy of @KeyBank Who needs them? #sabrehood#LetsGoBuffalo
@ProGolfCritic@23Rounder@livgolf_league Two things can be true at the same time. Money is important and so is winning the biggest golf tournaments. If only money mattered then liv would have had more success getting players. Wouldn’t have taken half a billion dollars to get Rahm.
@23Rounder@ProGolfCritic@livgolf_league Not unusual when the argument is “money is the most important thing”. To the best golfers, money is not the most important thing. It’s winning meaningful golf tournaments.
@GolfloverUK Honestly, how do they make money outside of tickets and apparel?
I’m not trying to troll at all. I love golf. Love pro golf. Just don’t see how what’s happening is good for the game. I don’t know a single person who watches Liiv. Not one.
@GolfloverUK I understand the context. I’m trying to understand this “business model”. How does Liiv make money? There are no major sources of revenue.
@GolfloverUK lol so you hold the two leagues to different standards?
And business model? With all due respect that’s hilarious 😂 . Spending an arbitrary amount of money (totalling a billion +) on random players is not a business model
@GolfloverUK Spending money like water .. so like spending half a billion dollars on one player to join your golf league? Or hundreds of million on another player? Or another hundred million on another player? Lol look in the mirror man.
@GolfloverUK How do you propose they get rid of ads? The only reason LIV is ad free is because the PIF is willing to lose billions to ruin golf. Broadcast deals and advertisements are a part of revenue generation for sports.
