Handlers of the INEC chairman made a huge mistake for denying the obvious. He should have simply admitted the situation since everyone has a past.
INEC stakeholders are beyond the shores of this land, and this is an unacceptable redline to most. The denial was a bad faith.
The President and the National Assembly need to act to guarantee accountability, transparency and impartiality from the leadership of INEC.
