On This Day â June 5, 1967
F**k Around: Arabs spent weeks boasting they would annihilate Israel. Egypt massed troops on the border, imposed a blockade, ordered UNEF out & promised destruction. Jordan & Syria joined. Radio Cairo called on Arabs everywhere to kill Jews.
Find Out: At 7:14 a.m., the entire Israeli Air Force (except 12 planes left for home defense) took off in Operation Focus. They caught the Egyptian pilots eating breakfast. By 11:05 a.m., 180 Egyptian planes were destroyed on the ground. Within hours, most of the Jordanian and half the Syrian air forces were also wiped out.
Then the real shock:
- Israel overran the entire Sinai Peninsula and reached the Suez Canal in four days.
- Despite no element of surprise, Israeli forces recaptured all of Judea and Samaria, including the Old City of Jerusalem.
- In brutal fighting, they seized the strategically vital Golan Heights, including Mount Hermon â âthe eyes and ears of Israel.â
On June 7, Colonel Motta Gurâs paratroopers entered the Old City. For the first time in 2,000 years, Jewish soldiers stood at the Western Wall. The shofar was blown. Even hardened, secular soldiers broke down and wept with joy. The Jewish people were home again.
776 Israeli soldiers fell â heroes who turned near-certain destruction into one of the most legendary military victories in history.
The Arabs had spent 19 years vowing to erase the Jewish state.
They F****d Around.
They Found Out.
After two millennia of exile and 19 years of encirclement on borrowed time, the Jewish people reclaimed their ancient capital, reunited their ancestral homeland, and reminded the world in six miraculous days what a determined nation can achieve when its back is against the wall.
Am Yisrael Chai.
It took a non-Jewish political commentator @HughHewitt to drop a truth bomb this morning about the Democratic Party and antisemitism.
âThe Democratic Party is deeply infected with anti-Semitism â not anti-Israel sentiment, not anti-Zionism â antisemitism. And itâs like a sepsisâŠ.Itâs either going to kill the Democratic Party or itâs going to kill the United States.â
25 years after 9/11, the Muslim Brotherhood influence and radical jihadist sympathizers are being mainstreamed in the Democratic Party.
This is no longer a warning. Itâs a diagnosis.
#Antisemitism #JewHatred
Once again, Mark Carney is being rolled out the red carpet at a Jewish synagogue while Jewish organizations line up to welcome him.
Instead of speaking at a synagogue, he should have been told to speak at the corner of Bathurst and Sheppard, the center of the Jewish community, on a Sunday at 12:00pm, so he could see exactly what his government has helped produce in this country and how much worse it will get if he refuses to confront the mass immigration problem that is fueling hate rallies like the one at Bathurst and Sheppard.
It is incredibly frustrating that some Jewish Organizations keep clapping for the Liberalsâ empty âfight against antisemitismâ theater when it clearly serves the Prime Ministerâs political needs, not the safety or interests of the Jewish community?
The message is loud and clear: the government can push for a Palestinian state, call for the arrest of a democratic allyâs prime minister, and openly dismiss Jewish concerns, and still get a warm reception in our synagogues with zero real consequences.
No matter how many times Carney and the Liberals undermine Jewish interests, the same people will keep smiling, shaking hands, and giving them a platform.
Meanwhile, politicians know that crossing the Muslim community risks losing a large voting bloc.
With our Jewish community, theyâve learned they can do the opposite and still get invited back.
Carney will now announce some toothless âDEI councilâ wrapped in the usual âweâre fighting antisemitism and Islamophobiaâ packaging. It will be a powerless advisory body handed to Jewish organizational heads as a cheap symbolic gesture meant to shut down criticism.
It will change nothing, deliver nothing, and exist only to buy silence.
And yet we keep signaling that this is acceptable. How shameful. The status quo remains.
Tafsik will not attend. That synagogue should be empty.
Remember the European Hospital in Khan Younis last May?
Israel struck a targeted site there, and the world lost its mind.
Palestinians denied any tunnel existed underneath. The UN and European governments rushed to condemn Israel for attacking a âhospital.â Outrage, headlines, accusations of war crimes⊠the usual script.
Then June came.
The IDF took international media into the very same location and showed them the tunnel⊠a full Hamas command center, right under the emergency room.
Weapons, rooms, infrastructure. And yes, thatâs where they found and confirmed the body of Mohammed Sinwar, Hamasâs top military commander and brother of Yahya Sinwar.
The strike that killed one of the architects of October 7 was surgically precise, and entirely justified.
Under the Geneva Conventions of 1949, hospitals and other medical facilities lose their protected status when they are used for military purposes, such as command centers, weapon storage, or troop movements. By deliberately turning the European Hospital into a Hamas base, the terrorists themselves stripped it of any legal protection.
Not a single apology from the UN or the European governments that rushed to condemn Israel. Not one admission they were wrong. They simply moved on to the next round of accusations.
This is the pattern. Hamas hides its terror infrastructure under civilian sites, uses hospitals as shields, and the international community reliably attacks the defender for responding, only to be proven wrong again and again and again when the evidence emerges.
How many times does this have to happen before the world stops falling for it?
This is what celebration looks like in Paris today.
Notice something. No progressive politician would tell their daughter to walk alone into this crowd. No feminist would feel comfortable here. No Jewish person would feel particularly welcome. And yet we are constantly told that this is the future of diversity and inclusion.
While European cities become increasingly hostile to women, Jews, and gays, Western politicians like AOC put on the hijab and celebrate the very ideology driving much of this regression.
They chant "my body, my choice" while defending cultures that deny women the most basic freedoms.
These pseudo-feminists are among the dumbest people in modern politics. They condemn patriarchy in the West while making excuses for societies built upon it.
Canada is in a recession but donât worry, if you lost your job or went bankrupt or suffered in any way then itâs ok because itâs just TECHNICALLY a recession, itâs not really a recessionâŠđ

I just listened to @MrLeslieRoberts on @CJAD800 with @eliasmakos. Thank you Leslie, Thank you Elias! How can we help improve the current situation for Canadaâs Jewish community? Itâs unacceptable, unCanadian and Montreal has and should do better for citizens!
Masked cowards paraded an effigy of a Jew being hanged, in downtown Montreal, in broad daylight.
The sickness of antisemitism is here, in our own backyard.
This Liberal government is doing nothing to stop it.
We must stamp this out and make Canada once again a safe home for Jewish people.
Food for thought.
The Myth of Decline, Reversed
In 1945, the United States possessed power no empire had ever known. It alone had nuclear weapons, no peer competitor, and no constraint on converting victory into domination. Yet it chose construction over conquest, building Bretton Woods, a rules-based system, and the security architecture that became Pax Americana.
America rebuilt the nations it had just defeated. The Marshall Plan turned enemies into allies and devastation into industrial recovery. West Germany became Europeâs economic engine within a generation. Japan rose from surrender to the worldâs third-largest economy.
American aircraft delivered supplies into Berlin, deep inside former enemy territory. At maximum leverage, the United States chose restraint. That became the moral foundation of the postwar order.
The decline narrative mistakes transition for collapse. From Spengler onward, observers have confused adaptation with exhaustion. But decline is not mood it is loss of capacity to act. By that measure, the United States is not declining.
American power endures. The U.S. accounts for a quarter of global GDP, dominates technological innovation, and fields, with allies, the majority of deployable military force. The dollar remains the reserve currency. American energy production leads the world. What has changed is not capacity, but sustainability.
For decades, Washington has played universal guarantor while expanding domestic commitments and pretending deficits carry no cost. That era is ending.
As Kissinger understood, no order survives on power without legitimacy or legitimacy without power. âPower without legitimacy tempts tests of strength,â he wrote. âLegitimacy without power tempts empty posturing.â The task is restoring equilibrium between commitments and capabilities.
The Gulf moment presents that opportunity. For half a century, the global economy has operated under the 1979 Iranian Revolutionâs shadow: constrained supply, chronic instability, embedded risk premiums. A durable resolution, securing oil flow through Hormuz, constraining proxy warfare, reintegrating Iran into regional order, would dismantle decades of strategic dysfunction.
The implications extend beyond the region. Chinaâs model depends on imported energy from unstable suppliers. Constrained supply and elevated prices subsidize geopolitical leverage. Abundant, diversified supply would compress rents, reduce risk, and expose Beijingâs vulnerabilities.
Add Venezuelan normalization, the worldâs largest proven reserves, and the energy landscape transforms. Sanctioned supply returns, risk premiums compress, and sustained $60 oil becomes plausible.
Energy is the master variable. Lower, stable prices reduce inflation volatility, improve capital allocation, raise real growth. Combined with AI advances, the result could be transformative: a productivity cycle driven by cost compression, not debt expansion.
The Cold Warâs end released a peace dividend financing globalization and the internet age. Resolving the Iran-centered energy order could produce a second dividend, restoring coherence to a strained system.
Churchill knew: safety in oil lies in variety. But control over energy is control over the strategic environment itself.
The United States is not declining. It is a dominant power confronting unsustainable posture and the opportunity to correct it. Resources remain. Power structure favors the West.
Under Trump, investors should assume the will exists and position accordingly. The actions thus far suggest they would be right.
Fact: âThe ratio of civilian to fighters killed in the Gaza War is better than most other comparable situations.â @GadSaad That precision of the statement is key. Civilian (noncombatant) fighter (combatant participating in the hostilities). Actually one of the lowest of urban warfare history against anything comparable. Lower than any comparable battle/war (very few even close to the situation but those like battles of Manila, Seoul, Mosul or Iraq/Korean War). Yes 1:1. Yes, Hamas (and other fighters participating in the war) had over 35,000 militants. @joerogan@joeroganhq Iâm more than happy to discuss where the numbers come from, any comparable situation, why all the destruction in Gaza, what else could have been done, no genocide, and more based on a decade of research and now 7 (about to be 8) trips into Gaza to directly observe the IDF during their operations against Hamas.
Iâm seeing a lot of mentions of the âNakbaâ on social media today.
A brief history lesson: 78 years ago, several Arab countries attempted to invade and destroy Israel, the newly created Jewish state, which simply aspired to live in peace. These Arab states had genocidal intentions, which they made no secret of.
Those Arabs lost.
Thatâs it. Everything else is bullshit.
I donât think enough people are addressing the fact that the world has gone through a fundamental transformation over the last three years and itâs not pretty.
Weâve gone from âHitler was evil. The Holocaust was the darkest time in human history. Antisemitism is bad.â
To:
âHitler was right. Jews are the new Nazis. Itâs ok to harass, assault, and even murder Jews.â
If you havenât picked up on the irony of those past few sentences, let me point it out to you.
These lunatics are now going on about how Hitler wasnât evil at all and how he was right about the Jews and then in the same breath, they call Jews the new Nazis and Netanyahu the new Hitler.
So either Hitler was great and so is Netanyahu or Hitler was terrible and what he did to Jews was horrendous.
Which one is it? It canât be both.
Of course these psychos are experts at hypocrisy and self contradictions.
âThe Holocaust didnât happen.â And âGaza is the new Holocaust.â
Um. Which one is it?
âGaza was an open air prison. Thatâs why October 7th happened.â And âBefore Israel committed genocide, Gaza was paradise. Look how beautiful it was!â
âNetanyahu sent in billions to Gaza. Heâs guilty of funding Hamas.â And âBibi is starving Gaza and not sending in any aid.â
One of my favorites is âCeasefire nowâ and âGlobalize the intifada.â đ
Or âTwo state solution.â And âFrom the river to the sea.â
Like do they know theyâre contradicting themselves?
The list is long and incredibly humorous.
âThe Jews are trash.â And âThe Jews control the world.â đ€Łđ€Ł
Oh, how did I forget?
âOctober 7th was the Palestiniansâ proudest day.â And âOctober 7th didnât happen. Itâs all a lie.â
But thatâs the thing. It should come as a surprise to no one how much they lie because the entire Palestinian identity from day one was a lie.
Palestine was Israel. There never was an Arab Palestine. Those people you call Palestinians? Theyâre Jordanians and Egyptians. Donât believe me?
Who started the PLO? Yasser Arafat. He was the father of the Palestinian people.
Where was he born? In âPalestineâ?
In Cairo. Thatâs right. The father of the Palestinian people is from Egypt.
Oh, and what was he liberating in 1964 when he founded the Palestine liberation organization? There was no âOccupationâ back then. What was he liberating?
Thatâs right. Israel. Every inch of it.
See the âPalestinianâ coin below? See what it says there in the circle? It says âEretz Yisraelâ, which means âThe land of Israelâ.
Are we really just going to ignore the fact that a coin from Palestine has Hebrew on it?
You think there ever was an Arab Palestine? Cool, cool.
When was it established? Who was the prime minister? What was the national anthem? Where were its borders?
Ya know, if the Palestinian people are indigenous to the land and have been there for thousands of years, if Jesus was a Palestinian (đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł), name me one thing these so-called Palestinians invented.
One contribution they made to the world and plane hijacking and suicide bombs donât count.
âAll they want is their land back. They just want a state.â
Do you really believe that? Go read their charter. Itâs black on white.
They donât want a state. They want no Israel.
Forget their charter, if they wanted a state, they would have had one decades ago.
In fact, when the UN gave Israel to the Jews, they proposed the partition plan, which gave the Arabs a state too, an offer they refused immediately.
They then attacked Israel with all their Muslim brothers and lost. But before they attacked, they told the Arabs living in Israel (then called Palestine) to leave their houses and that theyâd be able to return after Israel is destroyed.
Howâd that go for them? Thatâs what they called âNakbaâ.
Now, why would that be? Why would they say no to a state if thatâs what they want?
And why did they reject a state in:
- 1937: THE PEEL COMMISSION
- 1967: THE KHARTOUM SUMMIT
- 1991: THE MADRID CONFERENCE
- 2000: THE CAMP DAVID SUMMIT
- 2001: THE TABA SUMMIT
- 2005: THE DISENGAGEMENT
- 2007: THE ANNAPOLIS CONFERENCE
- 2008: THE REALIGNMENT PLAN
- 2010: THE JOINT PEACE TALKS
- 2013: THE JOINT PEACE TALKS
- 2019: THE BAHRAIN WORKSHOP
- 2020: THE TRUMP PEACE PLAN
But back to the main point. In case you hadnât noticed, antisemitism went from off limits and taboo to progressive and cool.
Did you notice the transformation?
Think about it. Five years ago, could you imagine thousands of people marching in the streets of NYC, Toronto, London, Paris, or any western city openly chanting to murder Jews? Never in a million years.
Could you imagine people walking the streets literally hunting Jews? Firebombing synagogues? Boycotting Jewish businesses?
Today, these are all almost a daily occurrence and not only does it happen, itâs become normalized and legitimate.
Itâs pretty wild to see how the far left and the far right see eye to eye on absolutely nothing. Well, nothing, except the hatred of the Jew.
If youâve decided to join the party and kick the Jews when weâre down, just know this.
No person or empire has ever, in the history of the world, turned on the Jews and lived to tell about it.
Theyâre all gone. Every single one of them.
And guess what. If the west doesnât reverse this tragic trajectory and nip this massive wave of antisemitism in the bud, the west will end up in the graveyard of empires where theyâll share a grave with the ancient Egyptian empire, the Roman Empire, the Greek empire, the Spanish empire, the Soviet empire, the Nazi empire, and many others.
If youâre standing on the side watching as Jews are beaten, harassed, and murdered just for being Jewish, if youâre not speaking up now, you will be held accountable for your silence.
Remaining silent is not an option.
The world said never again. Now itâs time to stand by those words and ensure that we donât repeat the mistakes of all those extinct empires that came before us.
Either that or western civilization as we know it will soon be a thing our children will read about in a history book.
Your choice. Choose wisely.
They are holding a marathon in Gaza
You have fallen prey to one of the biggest lies in history
The idea that there is âgenocideâ or âfamineâ in Gaza is ridiculous
It was lies made up by muslims who want to kill Jews and who wish to ultimately kill all non-muslims
Itâs what jihadists do
And you fell for it
You have to grow up and understand what these muslim lunatics are about
I don't understand why Canadian government reps keep saying âWe don't support Iran for positions at the UNâ as they keep supporting Iran for positions at the UN.

@MarkJCarney@MohamedBinZayed âStrongly condemnsâ that should do it. Iâll bet the IRGC will just stop now that @MarkJCarney strongly condemned their actions. đ. Maybe we should also send some thoughts and prayers⊠ffs
