@its_The_Dr It’s about soldiers being treated like crap after returning from Vietnam. That’s not anti-American. It was just shedding light on what those guys went through. Pretty obvious.
This. Not enough vacation time, expensive flights, uncertainty in language and customs, afraid they’ll be treated poorly. I love international travel. US is great, but other countries have things they do better. Most Americans are too afraid to leave.
@KeithSchrage@Durty_Burty No one in college sports is worth $6M. But that's the world we live in right now. MM is an average at best defender and rebounder. Can't really create his own shot. But he is an elite shooter and the fact that no one can leave him to double makes everything easier.
@NickWatts I'm a fan of dive bars (and patios and live music), so I'll go:
1. Billy Goat Tavern, Chicago
2. The Dubliner Pub, Omaha
3. Kelly's Westport Inn, KC
4. Pirate's Alley Cafe, NOLA
5. Welch Avenue Station, Ames
@roblowe93 @Brett_McMurphy If they have so much clout, just eject. Nah, they’d rather throw their weight around and threaten to leave while stacking the deck further in their favor. Just do it. I’ll still watch my team play.
@SappOutOfPgh@JackTriceMafia So you think that all the fans left out would just adopt a big 10 or sec team? No, CFB would not be just fine. You guys have lived in your own bubble too long.
@Houcat@jjfuller72 That isn’t really true. A lot of schools actually try to break even because if they have a big surplus the state assistance could go away. Not to mention schools do accounting differently as in some take facilities out of the profit and some keep it separate.
@ripsticknck@JackTriceMafia They still will. It will just be seeding and bye ramifications. Do you really think that Michigan is going to want to beat tOSU any less because they are both already in the playoffs? No, CFB doesn't work like that.
