Urgent Missing Child Alert: This 12-year-old girl has been missing since 3pm on Friday, after failing to return home from school.

She’s a student at the King John School in Benfleet and lives in Canvey Island, however it is reported that she could be in the Southend area.

One of the family said: “Please, if any one sees my granddaughter, please contact the police. She is still missing since 3pm after school on Friday!

“Please share this post widely as she could be anywhere between Canvey and Southend by now. We are all so worried, especially her mum and dad.”
