@Berk_Brown@RyanKile2 No connection here either. Looked like a tough game to officiate, 2 teams that get up and guard, very physical. My counter would be, 2 of FC’s better players get fouled out earlier in game on questionable calls. I don’t think it gets to that point if FC is at full strength.
26th Win of the Season for Central City Post #6 Juniors!
The Central City Post #6 Juniors triumphed over Lincoln Christian in the opening game of the Class B American Legion State Tournament, marking their 26th win of the season! They will face Crete tomorrow at 4 PM.
In an impressive 8-0 victory over Brester Const Jr Legion 2024, the bottom of the lineup played a crucial role. Parker Zikmund, Martin Gonzalez, and Colter Lueders combined for four of the team’s seven hits, scoring five runs and driving in three.
The team scored five runs in the fifth inning with key plays from Lueders, Zikmund, and Colbyn Peters. Conner Erickson earned the win, allowing only two hits and no runs over five innings.

Congratulations to Cornerstone Stampede 10s on winning the Class D state softball championship today! That’s two state championships for the Central City Stampede program this season!
Congratulations to the Pinnacle Bank Central City American Legion Post #6 Juniors as they are once again the champions of the MidNebraska League! They also advance to 19-0 on the season and will head into area tournament action at Kernel Field on Friday.
