Mrs. Adams’ Law Class conducted a mock trial today. Her Honours Hopson and Wilson will make their verdict tomorrow morning. Fantastic job done by everyone! @PVNCCDSB
Yesterday, my son was disrespectful to a teacher. It clearly hurt her feelings. Unacceptable.
So this morning, I took my son by the hand and we marched right into her classroom before school started.
What I witnessed my young son do was enough to move a grown man to tears.
I watched a 5 year old boy show more humility than our current “leaders” ever do.
“I am sorry that I hurt your feelings. I didn’t think about what I was saying. It happens sometimes at home too. I’m sorry.”
Then he gave her a hug.
I was… speechless. It wasn’t what he said. It was the genuineness of his words to his teacher. He meant every word.
I am so proud. And I let him know.
We will never raise children who never make mistakes. So instead, raise children who can take accountability and learn when they do. ❤️
Inexperienced teachers should start in kindergarten where it's 'less demanding': Que. education minister! Such a BS attitude by elected officials who know nothing of the demands. #qced#onted#cdned#edchat

2019…
ME: This was the toughest year teaching that I have ever had. At least things can’t get any worse.
2020…
ME: I stand corrected. This year was the toughest year ever, and there’s no way things can get worse.
2021…
ME: Seriously?!?!
December 6th is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
Today is about remembering those who have experienced gender-based violence and those who we have lost to it.
Our flags will fly at half-mast from sunrise to sunset to mark the day.
