I still remember watching you during your stint in PBB back in 2006. I liked you from the very beginning. I voted for you, cheered for you, and I remember how genuinely happy I was nung maging Big Winner ka. I watched some of your early shows afterward, but if I'm being honest, I wasn't invested enough to follow your entire journey. Hindi talaga ako mahilig sa Pinoy celebrities back then. RobSten and SteinField fan kasi ako noon eh. 😅

In fact, I never expected that one day I would become your fan.

Wala talaga sa hinagap ko.

But, they say people come into our lives at the right time. Maybe that's why late na akong naging fan mo and not in 2006.

I'm actually very dense when it comes to Philippine showbiz. Years passed, and I barely paid attention. Then in 2024, I stumbled upon a Showtime clip of Paulo's akyat-ligaw. Kinilig ako. It caught my attention, but I still didn't become a fan right away.

It wasn't until August 2024, when I took a break from BTS stan Twitter, that I found myself watching more videos of you and Paulo. One video became several. Several became countless.

Curious, I started doing my research. Nagresearched muna talaga ako, hindi kasi ako basta basta maging fan. I watched interviews, old videos, throwback clips, and read years' worth of tweets and stories from people who had worked with you or admired you. Through all those pieces, I slowly discovered who Kim Chiu is, not just as an actress, but as a person.

And that's when I became a fan.

Walang halong bola ah, but your talent as an actress amazed me. Napaka-effective mong actress because you make people feel every emotion you portray. Whether it's heartbreak, joy, pain, or hope, you bring characters to life in a way that stays with the audience long after the scene ends.

But as much as I admire your acting, it wasn't your talent that made me stay.

YUNG PUSO MO!

Your kindness. Your generosity. Your sincerity. Your resilience. Your bubbly spirit that continues to shine no matter what life throws your way.

As an introvert, I've always been drawn to people who bring warmth into a room. People whose energy makes others feel comfortable, welcomed, and lighter. You have that kind of sunshine personality. The kind that cannot be faked.

Nakita ko na hindi naging madala ang journey mo. You've faced criticisms, heartbreaks, controversies, and countless challenges throughout the years. Yet you remained professional. You kept showing up. You kept working hard. You kept choosing kindness.

And I believe that's one of the biggest reasons why you've lasted 20 years in an industry as unpredictable and unforgiving as showbiz.

Today, I celebrate not only the actress that millions admire, but also the woman behind all the success. The woman na patuloy na nagiging inspirasyon ng marami simply by being herself.

Thank you for the memories you've given your supporters. Thank you for your hard work. Thank you for staying true to who you are.
