The #BCWildfire Service is aware of the Bill Nye Mountain fire (N11629), about seven kilometres southeast of the community of Wasa. This fire is in incredibly steep, inoperable terrain and has been classified as modified response.

No pics on the way home.. too tired. Mostly followed the BC Parkway and Central Valley greenway routes. Got lost 4 times resulting in extra kms.. bee in helmet.. chased by a goose... least favourite part was crossing the Patullo.. but made it home in one piece just after sunset.

Yesterday’s summer challenge... travelling from Surrey to the top of Grouse mountain and back on bike and foot. 130km bike ride + grouse grind hike. Took selfies along the way in which I look progressively more tired and ragged!
