A certain compiler plugin is now officially available with Beta5!

This release mostly covers the stabilization of the new Kotlin K2 compiler. In addition, there are new features in Kotlin/Wasm and Kotlin/JS, as well as improvements for the Gradle build tool.

🔜 The next stabilization release will be Kotlin 2.0.0-RC1.

At the time of the Kotlin 2.0.0-RC1 release, we plan to ensure binary compatibility with code compiled by other versions of the Kotlin compilers and to eliminate the poisoning of binaries compiled with K2. This will enable you to use the new K2 compiler in production environments.

🗻 The K2 Compiler is on the verge of completing its stabilization process and becoming enabled by default in Kotlin 2.0. It is crucial that as many developers as possible give K2 a try and report any potential issues.

✅ Starting with Kotlin 2.0.0-Beta1, the Kotlin K2 compiler has been enabled by default. No additional actions are required. Give K2 a try!

@galex Two main reasons I can think of without seeing code:
1. Missing META-INF/services file for registrar
2. Incorrect plugin artifact coordinates

Gradle composite builds are really useful, allowing you to test the Gradle plugin without needing to publish a release.
