On August 16, @bdbnp78 invited leaders from different religious communities to exchange views and discuss the next steps to build an inclusive #Bangladesh.

"We want peace, comfort . .. we want to live. We want to place our statements through different political parties in a democratic way before those running the state," Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council General Secretary Rana Dasgupta said.

Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad General Secretary and Dainik Kalbela Editor Santosh Sharma said they submitted their demands and points to BNP, and its secretary general assured them that if the party goes to power, it will consider them positively.
