#WATCH | Slovakia: PM Narendra Modi shares a video on social media; says, "Prime Minister Fico wore a jacket I had gifted him. And coincidentally, our jacket colours matched today."
Dear Shri Mohan Bhagwat ji,
My letter will reach you shortly. However, I thought it was important to draw your attention to this matter early.

Firstly, congratulations to the RSS on completing 100 years.
An organisation that claims over 60,000 shakhas and crores of swayamsevaks must also uphold transparency and constitutional accountability.
As per RSS’ highest and most important decision making body Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha’s 2025–26 Karnataka report, the RSS has 4,127 daily shakhas, 1,389 weekly milans, 60 monthly mandalis, 2,194 Samajotsavas with 19.61 lakh participants and held 562 route marches with 2.21 lakh uniformed participants in the state.
With such scale and influence, the RSS must clarify its legal status, registration, office bearers, funding, expenditure, taxation and permissions for public activities.
If citizens, labour, NGOs, trusts, temples and companies are expected to register, disclose and comply with the law, why should the RSS remain exempt?
In its centenary year, the RSS must responsibly abide by the Constitution and register, disclose, pay applicable taxes and function transparently within the Constitution.
As suggested in my letter, I am looking forward to hearing from @RSSorg soon.

Here's what happened to Frenchy after his surgery:
Within a week, he headed to the beautiful northern side of India for trekking and camping — Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
He then met his Turkish girlfriend, and together they rode further north to Kashmir and Ladakh, before continuing to the North East.
This entire incredible journey was absolutely amazing and will probably never go viral on social media. He travelled across India for months.
To whoever is in charge of tourism in the Indian government: it’s time to shift the focus from the usual Delhi-Agra-Mumbai-Rajasthan belt to India’s stunning mountainous regions.
No hate to the classic destinations, but they are extremely hot, humid, polluted, and overcrowded due to economic activity. Even someone like me, who isn’t very outgoing, feels overwhelmed there.
India’s mountainous regions are vast — collectively as large as 2–3 European countries combined!
If we channel our energy and resources in the right direction, it would not only attract more people for India’s pocket-friendly, high-quality medical treatments but also showcase the country’s breathtaking countryside to the world.
We are sitting on a multi-hundred-billion-dollar business opportunities — completely unaware of its true scale — and it needs to be unleashed as soon as possible.

Back in 2021, Sourabh Dwivedi asked:
"Didn't TMC engineer the merger of 12 out of 17 Congress MLAs in Meghalaya? Isn't TMC also taking Congress leaders from Haryana and Bihar?"
Rajdeep Sardesai:
"Mamata Banerjee is trying to become a national player by capturing the votes of the Congress Party."
No "Death of Democracy" lectures when TMC absorbed two-thirds of Congress MLAs in Meghalaya?
Was it political strategy in 2021 and a threat to democracy in 2026?
“Hindustan behtar hai hamare liye in kafiron (Pakistani Army) se.” (“India is better for us than these people.”)
“At 4:30 a.m. Rangers started indiscriminate firing. People had come from Dadyal, Nakyal, Bhimber and Kotli. They were shooting in a manner they would not even use against an enemy.” These are the painful words of 78-year-old Shaukat from Rawalakot, who was one of the protester shot by Pakistani Rangers yesterday, while he was performing Wuzu before Fajr prayers.
“I had just extended my hand after Wuzu when the bullet struck it.”
For years, the Pakistan Army has projected itself as the self-proclaimed defender of Muslims. Now, the mask has come off.
Protesters in PoJK are asking a simple question: if worshippers gathering for Fajr prayers are met with bullets, how can this be called an army of Muslims?
An army that fires on civilians offering Namaz cannot claim the moral high ground. The people of PoJK are exposing the gap between Pakistan’s rhetoric and reality.

This is a ZincGel battery.
It can store solar power for 6-12 hours with 90% round-trip efficiency.
Which means electricity generated during the day can be used to power homes at night.
This is huge.
Because India lost 300 million units of renewable energy in Q1 of 2026.
Due to transmission constraints.
That's enough to power over 150,000 homes for an entire year.
Now, the Zinc-Bromide batteries that are being used aren't really a new technology.
In fact, they've been around for over a 100 years.
But these batteries had a few problems - they were highly unstable, degraded quickly and were difficult to scale as a solution for energy storage.
So this Indian startup called @OffgridEL has come up with a proprietary electrolyte that effectively solves all these problems and turns Zinc-Bromide batteries into highly stable batteries.
And their Zinc-Bromide batteries can store energy for 6-12 hours with 90% round-trip efficiency and has a 20 year battery life.
They even have 20+ patents for their electrolyte design and architecture.
Now that they've proved that it works - they are in the process of setting up a small manufacturing facility in the UK.
The purpose of this facility is to prove that they can manufacture and test these batteries consistently.
And if they can do this - it could change the way we store energy forever.

DRDO successfully conducted the flight-test of the indigenously developed Long Range Land Attack Cruise Missile (LRLACM) from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island, Odisha.
The missile achieved all mission objectives, validating critical technologies and demonstrating India’s growing long-range precision strike capability. Developed with all its sub-systems by DRDO with strong participation from Indian industry, the successful test is another major step towards Aatmanirbhar Bharat and a stronger national defence ecosystem: Ministry of Defence

I remember when the BJP claimed that they’d given you footage of money exchanging hands during the 2008 confidence vote. You refused to air it. Yet every tweet of yours reeks of an undeserved air of moral superiority- much like Pakistani diplomacy.
Israel's Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, tweets, "Trump's agreement does not bind us. Israel is not subject to the United States, and we are an independent and sovereign nation... Every time we succumbed to international pressure at the expense of Israel's security, we paid a blood price with interest. It was true in the Oslo Accords, it was true in the Lebanon agreement in 2006, and it was true in every period of containment in Gaza that exploded in our faces... We emphasise: We love the USA and are grateful to President Trump. And yet, the State of Israel is not a banana republic. I say these things to the Prime Minister all the time, and repeat them in closed rooms at every important historical juncture: In historical moments, a historical decision must be made... We must make it clear: Every launch of a drone, UAV, or missile toward Israel from Lebanon will lead to an Israeli strike in Dahiya..."
People wondered how Brigadier Aryan Verma's parents, despite being educated and holding govt jobs, could fail to realize their son was faking his military rank. Well, the reality is worse than we thought.
They had actually put up a board outside their house to show off their son's "achievement." They completely believed his lies.
As Paresh Rawal said in Hungama: "Jab godown mein hi gadbad hai, toh showroom toh aisa hi niklega na."

US in frontier tech does two things. First mover and fastest mover. The advantage(moat) that these two factors build is difficult to break, though not impossible, as China has shown.
Comparing that to India is lame analysis.
For India, where these advantages don’t exist, the case for a sovereign effort needs to be made than expecting a natural choice from the pvt enterprise.
To put it more provocatively, US frontier tech efforts even by pvt sector are naturally sovereign serving in nature and commercially viable. India is looking at it from the other side. Indian sovereign serving needs is not commercially viable. The case has to be made for it. Can GOI and state govts as one of the potential largest users of AI mandate that they would break away from all foreign models in s given time frame and subscribe to only Indian models? Can they also mandate all govt contractors to move to Indian sovereign models only?
This is how we start.
