Trump is declining international election monitors in the United States for first time in over two decades, aligning the country with Russia.
Trump will instead deploy his own election monitors to polling sites across the country.
MAGA: “Democrats hate Trump because he says what he means!”
Trump: “I wouldn’t care if Iran bombed Los Angeles and San Diego.”
MAGA: “That’s not what he meant!”
.@TroyJackson207: As late as 2024, the FBI was circling around Senator Collins. They had emails, they knew about meetings. They've got a great big check for $150,000. It's a pay-to-play scheme involving her office and our taxpayer dollars. And then when Trump came back, his administration dismantled the investigation. Now, she votes with Donald Trump 96% of the time. I don't owe Trump. I don't owe the billionaires. I've spent my life fighting back against billionaires, but I do owe the people of Maine everything.
Cannot tell you how much it warms my heart (and my child self’s heart) that Derrick Rose is so involved with the Bulls after retirement. We have Taj Gibson on staff, and Joakim Noah visits often too. If anyone can help bring a winning culture back to the Bulls, it’s these guys.
In the 1970s, a young Robert Prevost asked his mother if she wanted to be equal to men. Mildred Prevost answered, “No, because we’re already better.” Meet the Black Creole librarian who raised the first American pope.
BREAKING: YES! The Catholic Church hits Trump with a MASSIVE lawsuit after his administration denied access to clergy seeking to administer sacraments to detainees.
This should knock these fascists down a peg or two...
“As a bishop I am responsible for every soul in my archdiocese, and that includes those who are in the prisons,” stated St. Louis Archbishop Mitchell Rozanski. He said that his priests "cannot hear confessions, they cannot celebrate Mass, they cannot give the anointing of the sick to any of the detainees."
Rozanski accused the administration of "robbing the detainees of their rights to have access to these sacraments." His archdiocese has filed a lawsuit alleging that a detention facility in Missouri blocked them from accessing Catholics being held inside, violating their right to receive communion and confession.
The archdiocese says that most of the roughly 150 detainees are Hispanic Catholics. Filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the suit names officials at Homeland Security as well as the local sheriff.
It reveals that clergy have been restricted to a paltry four-hour window to meet with detainees at the Saint Genevieve County Jail, and even then they are separated by glass, meaning that they cannot administer the Eucharist. Denying Catholics communion is a grave violation of their religious rights and a clear sign that there is nothing truly "Christian" about this White House.
The officials at the jail suggested that the priests could place the consecrated communion host — which Catholics believe to be the literal, physical body of Jesus Christ — inside a no doubt dirty container, which the guards would then pass along to the detainees. Archbishop Rozanski slammed the idea as "sacrilegious."
The archdiocese is demanding that its clergy be granted a level of access commensurate with their importance to the detainees, which would mean treating them like consular officials or attorneys.

Trump is the first president to call for America to be attacked. And his Republican allies said nothing.
They don't care about you, or the country.
Vote Democratic this November. The future of America depends on it.
Every Democrat voted to extend the ACA tax credits before they expired. Every Republican blocked them. That's the whole crisis in one vote. In November, you get to vote too. #RepublicanHealthcareCrisis

There are over 115,000 active-duty personnel stationed in and around San Diego, California. The place Donald Trump just told Iran to attack.
Trump hates America.
I’m loving the “well akshually he didn’t REALLY mean let Iran take out Los Angeles and San Diego” excuses today.
Cool. Explain the assholes in the crowd who thought it was fucking hilarious.
Deplorables wasn’t strong enough.
Kansas Governor Laura Kelly calls out Zach Lahn, who lives in Kansas but is running for Iowa Governor:
"Imagine my surprise when I learned that one of my constituents is running for governor. Not here in his home state of Kansas, but two states over, in Iowa."
Trump and his allies are going to try desperately to clean up his completely insane comments last night about Los Angeles and San Diego being blown up. Don’t listen to them. They’ve been trying to sanitize and normalize this dangerous rhetoric for a decade now.
Asked about Catholic priests being turned away from ICE facilities, Pope Leo XIV called for “a deep reflection” on what is happening to migrants in America.
“Many people who have lived for years and years and years, never causing problems, have been deeply affected by what’s going on right now.”
Epstein survivor Dani Bensky: "I can't help but to think that this administration is being run like an Ivy League fraternity. Stay silent. Close ranks. Protect the institution. Avoid accountability."
