LB Sprint Angle Shimmy Drill
- Coaches should train linebackers to utilize a side sprint technique that transitions into a 45-degree set position.
- The linebacker's movement should be synchronized with the quarterback, setting their position exactly when the quarterback sets theirs.
- A drag-dig box drill can be used to simulate passing concepts where runners cross the linebacker's field of vision at different levels.
- Linebackers must understand that for every route running underneath them, there is likely another route running over the top.
- Training should emphasize focusing on the quarterback's shoulder to anticipate and break on the ball as it is released.
- Players must initiate their break while the quarterback's hand is coming off the ball; waiting until the ball is in the air results in being too late.

Denzel Washington on the ghosts that haunt us the most:
👻 The Ghosts of our own unfulfilled potential.
👻 The Ghosts of the ideas we never acted on.
👻 The Ghosts of talent we never used.
The heaviest ghosts are the lives within us that we chose not to create. 🤯
