be wary of those that like to borrow your ears when it’s convenient. the ones who can only open their heart unless they’re being fed too. be wary of energy that disguises itself as love, when all it really does is deplete the love you should have for yourself.
some people only know how to love you in scraps not because you aren’t worth something full, unconditional and wholesome, but because you’re so willing to accept whatever energy is afforded your way. your love language is too important to be buried in half filled intentions.
a lover that doesn’t see your flaws as flaws but sees them as opportunities for growth, a lover that doesn’t let your low phases and less graceful moments tint the lens they see you from, a lover that sees you beyond your potential and the gold you possess now, a lover like this.
Life transitions are so hard. It’s a beautiful place to be , but also a challenging one. I’m moving forward, while also failing and moving backward. I’m finding new parts of me while remeeting old parts. It all makes sense and doesn’t. I’m exhausted but have energy to keep going.
