@GoofyNewfie2012@DamnAnimals After I was being a particularly bad juicearse one day on here, Dad went up one side of me & down the other, said I was becoming a Liberal John Baird & told me to go take a walk
So I spose that means I’m a better hand to be around in person 😆
@GenPopCorp Every penny of money meant for public servants & not political staff?
& his usefulness shows - every time he leaves the province the PCs look like rookies
The Premier doesn’t realise he’s the Premier.
Answer the godforsaken question - why is Des Whelan on the tit & out of the family care circuit when he’s not giving a single bit of healthcare advice?
JMJ.
Canada has decided to move forward with Saab GlobalEye as its new airborne capability for Airborne Early Warning and Control. I look forward to welcoming Canada into the GlobalEye family.
GlobalEye is a highly modern and capable system that now has earned the trust of a fourth country, in addition to Sweden, France and the UAE.
By operating Global Eye, Canada strengthens its ability to safeguard their sovereignty while contributing to NATO’s collective defence, including being a vital asset for surveillance and control of the Arctic region.
As the GlobalEye is based on the Canadian Bombardier Global 6500 platform, GlobalEye is already creating jobs in Canada, and working with the Canadian supply chain. This decision ties our two nations even closer together.
@kristinaennis & with respect to Horizons 106..
So long as there is still no plan to address homelessness (unless we go full Goosney and say it doesn’t exist), then criticism of addressing an urgent need falls on deaf ears. The people who were sleeping rough did not have time to wait for RfP
@kristinaennis Good people are on the tiller (the negotiating team) for this issue. But QP today makes me extremely leery about gov’s handle on this file. So I reiterate again - they need to leave the professionals to it.
But yeah, would be nice to know who they’re relying on for advice
@kristinaennis because it’s the biggest issue before NL since Confederation, and it’s important we know who is advising the gov…?
because the previous gov *did* bring in the experts they used developing the MoU, and put them before the HoA?
if they used the same peeps, fine - say so!
I seem to have burrowed into the head of whatever room-temperature IQ runs the Republic of NL accounts.
Good - they’re a coward hiding behind anonymity. Every NLer has indulged in the fantasy of an independent NL; most of us just outgrow it in favour of reality.

I would like to personally start fundraising today for whichever future candidate has the best chance at beating Keith Russell. He’ll lose anyways, but I want to break him & his ego. Don’t care who it is; that electoral skidmark needs to be gone.

@otthabs65@Jaxonpiercey Stoodley runs rings around Tories. You should listen to her in estimates.
Regardless, apples to oranges - there is a massive difference between calling the Premier old, and Russell inviting a “shitknocking”. Not to mention when he told Dempster to “choke on it”
@otthabs65 If your career is being a wanker, maybe you need a career shift
…personally, I don’t think career politician should be a thing - no matter the stripe
