"Arguing semantics" is a phrase I never fully understood until now. Its often used as a deflection when someone is called out on improper terms and language to support their point. #eng211fa21

Myth #10: "Some languages have no grammar". So some languages have no rules for effective communication? Outside of a 5-year old making up their own imaginary language, I don't see how that can work.#eng211fa21

@odblt That's a really good point... I mean every language goes through a natural progression, so even if they were isolated their language would certainty evolve in some form.
