@tateman @KirstieMAllsopp A young woman once sat next to me at a station while T was in my arms with a dummy, woman turned to her friend and said ‘if I have a baby I’ll never give them a dummy’…I thought exactly the same until it was the only thing that would get him off to sleep - she saw a snapshot.

@tateman @KirstieMAllsopp We know nothing of that family’s day, their habits or routine…they’re on holiday perhaps this was a treat for the kid? Perhaps it had been a dreadful nights sleep and the parents wanted a break? I used to judge on snapshots I saw of peoples lives until I had a child myself.

@RoyalMail 2nd time I’ve arranged a collection, paid for it, asked for them to bring a label and even though our post has been delivered my collection (large letter) hasn’t been collected?! Paid for 1st class, may as well have been 2nd now as I’ll have to take it to the PO

@KirstieMAllsopp I wouldn’t say in my experience it’s ’homework’ as such more practise, my reception aged son has a reading book, phonics flash cards and activity sheets which aren’t compulsory but are supplied & recommended by the school to do at home, they ask we do about 10 mins a day.

@SkyHelpTeam is there a problem with the broadband in Chichester? It’s been on and off all day, spent 50mins on a call to your customer services earlier and she ‘thinks’ it’s a mini outage? Is there a general problem in the area?
