@THoward_6 Just want to say how much we appreciate you Natasha! Thank you for your leadership, for your work ethic, for your play. But most of all, thank you for how you’ve set the example of leading Spiritually! The Fever as a team are blessed to have you!
In order to fulfill your God given purpose you’re going to have to resist the urge to compare or compete with anyone else. You’re going to have to choose to relentlessly pursue your God given calling and forsake the call of lesser things. You’re going to have to build your faith muscles through disciplined bible reading, prayer, fasting, praise and worship. You’re going to have to counter the urge to settle, get comfortable, complacent or lazy. You’re going to have to live with the fact that there’s lots of things that are okay for others to listen to, watch, or talk about —but not you. Running your race and finishing your course is not for the feint of heart. The path to destiny is narrow.
10 hr drive home today, Listened to All My Knotted-Up Life: A Memoir @BethMooreLPM So glad I listened as Beth Moore narrating was as if she was sitting in the car with me. Incredibly moving & authentic, so many moments in her story were God definitely grabbed my attention!
I'm convinced that in the Church today, we need less spotlights, fog machines, formulas, celebrity culture, attachment to political power…and simply more humility and dependence on the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
When we allow our faith to be subjugated to our political party of choice, we lose our voice, our distinction, and our opportunity to be the conscience of our nation.
The reason we get caught in bitterness is not what that person did to us -- even though it was wrong. The reason for the bitterness is usually because of what our heart is making of the thing we lost.
You can hear the rest of his story about playing for Tony Hinkle below⬇️ Coach Hinkle said it best “If only the Fieldhouse could talk, the stories it would tell”. Yep, 94 years worth and counting, Coach.

"We deceive ourselves if we claim to want to hear His voice but neglect the primary channel through which it comes. We must read His Word. We must obey it. We must live it, which means rereading it throughout our lives." ~Elisabeth Elliot
