Footage shows Hamas faking a recovery operation. The video shows militants burying a body bag and then digging it up moments later to present it as newly found remains.

Israel confirmed the remains belong to Ofir Tzarfati, a hostage whose body was already recovered from Gaza in December 2023, weeks after his abduction on October 7.

In the footage, Hamas operatives carry the bag from a building, bury it, and later unearth it as Red Cross officials arrive. One militant films the scene on his phone while an excavator piles dirt over the bag again.
