From the teaser, Wonder Man doesn’t look like a superhero story. Feels like they wanna go meta. Like a commentary on Marvel Studios itself or on the business of superhero movies in general.

Option 1: They stand by the fact Simon is just an actor and Wonder Man a fictional Hollywood character until the end. It becomes a standalone with no direct connection to the events of the MCU. If done well, it could be interesting (I know many will hate it).
