Invisible success is now a strategic liability. If nobody can see what you prevented, the time AI gives back gets taken, not reinvested.
Tell your story.

@icanvardar You still gained the knowledge and skillset deeper than most will ever have. You have the successes and failures others don’t. Use that to your advantage.
If you’re implementing an AI layer in your security program, focus on vertical workflows first. Layering a horizontal copilot on messy door names, camera names, and undocumented SOPs produces expensive garbage later.
Classic. The “Vote for my party and we’ll mail you $5,000 we don’t have!” bribe. Not gonna happen.
The last two versions of this (DOGE dividends, tariff rebates) obviously never showed up, and this still needs Congress to actually pass it. This is a $1.2 trillion tab that the gov builds up and US citizens get to pay for.
We also apparently learned nothing from the COVID checks. Dumping that much cash into an economy that isn’t locked down just bids up the same goods and services. More dollars = higher prices. This is Econ101.
This time there wouldn’t even a supply shock to blame.
If Republicans win the House of Representatives and the Senate in the 2026 Midterm Elections, I’m going to give all adult citizens in the United States of America, $5,000! Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to signing those checks!
In the tech world, everyone understands Software as a Service. It's time enterprise security leaders apply that exact same operational mindset to physical risk: Security as a Strategy (SaaS).
Just wrapped up recording a great episode on the AI PHYSEC TODAY podcast! Titled "Security as a Strategy," we built directly on the candid takeaways from our AI Driven Security Leader GSX roundtable in Atlanta to unpack what it actually takes to transform physical risk into a business asset.
A few highlights from our conversation:
1. Security leaders love talking about alarm counts, incident numbers, and systems specs, while CEOs care about avoiding headline disasters and CFOs care about stopping cash bleed. When you fail to translate physical risk into business metrics, you get treated as an inflating line item on the balance sheet.
2. Paying an hourly guard post to stare at their phone at 2 AM is just an expensive way to miss real threats. Swapping low-leverage "guard theater" for automated video analytics cuts response times and directly expands EBITDA.
3. Bypassing a digital firewall is almost always easiest through a physical breakdown. When a vendor floor lacks cleanroom controls and an insider takes a phone picture of a screen, you do not just get a physical incident, you can erase billions in market cap before lunch (just ask Coinbase).
When you align security architecture with how the business actually scales, physical security stops being an administrative tax and starts acting as an enterprise growth catalyst.
