Everybody loves to volunteer, nobody loves to 'be volunteered.' There may be a reason the NT word for servant is actually slave: slaves serve involuntarily.

We forget that anything done in the name of God that does not bear his character through and through is not of Him at all. In our forgetting, we are more loyal to the words of humans than to the commandments of God.
God doesn't compete with your favorite dopamine fix (drugs, porn, shopping, eating, fun, religion, etc.).
He tells us to put those desires to death (Col. 3:5) and enjoy a life of peace and joy in Him.
@gregstier Thanks for not letting sinful ministers off the hook who allege Christ as Lord but live in darkeness where it counts. Same thing characterized my marriage. God was merciful and granted repentance.
