@jamiecweir I agree. I mean, good for the players for making money, I guess. But at the same time if the product is worse for the fans, seems counterintuitive.
@Daniel_Rapaport Yikes. Keep in mind the rise of LIV was really player driven. Always wanting more. They have the right to make more, but making more on both tours while the sport delivers a worse product is counterintuitive
I like Rahm, but another player out of sight, out of mind. Adios amigo
@Daniel_Rapaport Good grief. I remember the days when all the best players in the world played every week on the same tour. Remember those days? Amazing.
Now we’re rolling back the ball for amateurs?
What the hell is going on?
Can the governing bodies and players make golf less appealing?
@smb_72@Daniel_Rapaport@PGATOUR Totally agree. Can the governing bodies, tour stakeholders and the players (they are also guilty in this) make golf a less appealing sport?
It was only a couple of years ago this sport was amazing.
@McIlroyRory I just want to get something straight: I now have to play a ball that goes less far, because a handful of the best golfers in the world hit it too far?
What am I missing? Surely, this isn’t really going to happen.
@JoelKlattShow@joelklatt@UMichFootball@zak_zinter This is all true. The cool thing is I heard OSU fans chanting as well. Even saw Coach Moore approach a few OSU with a half-hug as if saying “it’s all good”. For a few minutes both sides put aside their disdain for each other and cared about a downed player. It was powerful.
@PeteThamel This has gotten entirely out of hand. No one even knew what Bylaw 11.6.1 was until 4 weeks ago. Now the B1G conference is going to war against one of its biggest and most valued universities. Narrative matters and needs to be tempered before things like this get to this stage.
@wiley77 This is correct. Now, the old pizza shop may make an even better pizza and the customers don’t want the old pizza back. Customers are staying put. Old pizza is kind stale and gross anyway.
@chambleebrandel I agree chronologically cursed in the win column, but very lucky with the increase in purse sizes and large capital inflow into the business. They are wealthier bc of him. Even Phil has admitted this…
@BabyBullDC We learned a little last night, as well, that Dusty Baker is going to stick up for his guys. He’s not going to let them take any crap. We’re going to have some interesting moments this year...last night was a start.
@samgododge I don’t know exactly who is better but I’m finally beginning to think about hopping on the bandwagon. He gets paid way too much money for these types of performances/preparations.
