@AJeffery99154 And why give space to something that's existence is inherently misogynist and homophobic? You can still believe in god or hope for the existence of a higher power's existence without bending to man made rules of a cult.
@SarahIsAwsm Mostly. Denominations are made up by people who are too attached to the religion that they try to make space for themselves that does not exist. This does not change the fact that all religious roots lead back to them being man made cults
Because it’s almost always someone you know. Someone you might’ve trusted. A mutual friend. Someone in your family. Your best friend’s brother. People spend years convincing you that what happened to you wasn’t even that bad, blocking doesn’t even enter the picture
@ourmythologia I think we should always stand up for all who need. But the community needs to atleast free ourselves from the religious guilt. A lot of us cannot get out of all the conditioning we go through as a child and it only gives space for tolerance to homophobia.
this one hijabi influencer took the hijab off and I'm not judging her/anything bc we all go thru our own hijab phases but her posting abt the pride month and supporting it really made me hit that unfollow
