Chris Martin gives up a 2-out, 2-run opposite field homer to Carter Jensen. It's 6-3 and probably good night, which will clinch a losing homestand for the Rangers.

I'm a Texas @Rangers fan — in the good times and bad.
I cheered for the Rangers for 15 seasons before they made the postseason for the first time (1996), 29 seasons before they won their first playoff series (2010) and 42 seasons before they won their first World Series (2023).
I don't jump on and off the bandwagon. I know some of the supposed Rangers fans do.
They were done when the Astros came to Arlington and whipped the Rangers 39-10 in a three-game sweep in September 2023. They were done when the Rangers went to Seattle on the final weekend of the 2023 regular season and failed to win the AL West — instead needing to fly 3,000 miles to Tampa to play on the road as the underdogs in a Wild Card Series. They were done again when the Rangers jumped out to a 2-0 lead against the @Astros in the American League Championship Series only to lose three straight at home and fall behind 3-2.
These same folks, or course, jumped back on the bandwagon just in time to claim to be diehard, always-there-for-you Rangers fans when Texas defeated the Astros and then won the 2023 World Series over the Arizona @Diamondbacks.
But you're a bandwagoner — not a diehard — when you're only there for your team in the good times.
Criticize poor play? Sure.
Get frustrated? OK.
But whine and cry like a 3-year-old when the Rangers get no-hit by mediocre, injury-raddled Astros in late May with over 100 games left to play — and your team only 1.5 games out of playoff position? Give me a break. I got neither the time nor the patience for that.
I'll be cheering for the Rangers again tonight and 100% expecting them to turn this season around. I could be wrong, but I can live with that possibility.
The Rangers are MY team. Always and forever. #AllForTX
