@comma_ai Long ago, during the dotcom bubble, whenever I was between engineering gigs, I'd help a small local recruiter prep both candidates and client companies.
A good recruiter will do the prep work needed to ensure a minimal number of maximally productive interviews. I have stories...
@CraigyFerg Was in WFH hell a couple weeks ago, where home became the place I couldn't escape work. Pulled down my snake mug, filled it with multiple fluids, and hit the reset button. Better now. Missing you and Geoff!
@elonmusk For days I've been thrilled by this image. It brought me back to my childhood in the 1960s reading dogeared SciFi pulp novels from the 1950s with their artful covers an illustrations. I really wish Chesley Bonestell had lived to see this image.
@mathbff At some point, a "Making Of" video would be cool, to see what it takes (planning, people, equipment/tools, processing) to make one of your math videos.
@mathbff Movies have given us so many images of multiple ICBM launches heralding disaster.
This. This is multiple boosters returning for (potential) reuse. In perfect synchrony. A technological ballet. A never before seen balance of brawn, brains and beauty.
I was near to tears.

@UFOL3TA @Miz_Mora@Caltech@seanmcarroll Having met both @seanmcarroll and @JenLucPiquant at then end of a conference, I can say both are authentic to their online personas. Delightfully so. Surrounded by folks, both bombarded by questions, you'll see their fingers intertwine.
@seanmcarroll You are describing the best-case. That shame could be normalized by electing someone far worse. Let's not assume the best-case, however sad it sounds.
@JenLucPiquant
You have turned me into such a slacker. If you ever plan to not tweet for a while, please send: "Gone for X hours/days. GO FIND YOUR OWN LINKS!"
@kinagrannis
I've never listened to any of Kina's new songs more times in a row than "In The Waiting", and I'm wondering why.
I think it's a "bittersweet lullaby for adults". It helps me be at peace with the world as it is, no matter my disconnection from it.
Sweet dreams!
