@elonmusk Looking forward to watching it from Raptor Roost again
Great work you all do...I'm a fan of "impossible" engineering, as I had a team doing smaller but equally challenging things back in the 80's
@FelixSchlang@SpaceX I'm at Raptor Roost again, like last June when we met.
Crazy life occurrences...it's at least as hot, windy, & dusty as last year.
Thank the stars that it's not a morning launch again.
@The_Kris_Guin So...based on your definition of disability...everyone is disabled, as there are things they cannot do...pretty lame & inaccurate, I think...& abusive, & intolerant, & ableist...
@butchanarchy As an unfortunate expert on abuse, as so many others are, from 60+ years suffering in my case, I have experienced many of the "excuses" people mention as to why someone "becomes" abusive.
I have "chosen" not to become an abuser from those experiences. Choice, not accident.
@butchanarchy Abusing others is a choice. It requires thought, intent, & decision. It is not an accident or a disease. People do not "become" abusers. They actively "choose" to abuse others.
Lots of conversation tries to "understand" abusers. Rationale continues to be put forward as to...1/2
@butchanarchy 2/2...as to why people abuse others. That irrational thinking suggests an abuser cannot help abusing. It makes their abuse not their fault. This thinking alone is abusive & unforgivable.
There is no excuse, & there should be no forgiveness for abuse of others.
@ItsEmilyKaty I don't sit still, & the NTs around me have come to be OK with that...mostly...I walk around, pace, & roll my head around my shoulders to relieve stress ..somehow that has come to be OK where I've worked the last 4 years
@mycouragerises @awesomebrandi No craving/need after quitting...just body re-regulating...LOTS of sleeping for several months, & less ability to stay focused.
@awoodall19@AutSciPerson Really beautiful story...like you, my career became marginalized & limited, but not from becoming openly Autistic...also like you, I reinvented myself, & received unexpected help from quite a few people. I am now back doing what I love...growing teams & organizations...happy
